ChEap CoLLaRed DreAMs

Few issues today speak more controversy than development. Those bunch of white-collar workers in India and China are scaring the devil out of software jockeys across North America and Europe.Once i heard from my friend that 1 in 9 jobs in the US information technology industry will move overseas by 2010. And it's not just tech work.In the due course of my industrial Visit to one of these office parks i saw chartered accountants preparing American tax returns, lawyers researching American lawsuits, and lab techinicians reading scans for US hospitals.
I pesonally feel that the reality behind this scenario is, the words "OUTSOURCING","BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE","ASSOCIATES",are a bit overhyped in short term & misinterpreted in long term.As our nation continue to mint millions of the so called extremely capable knowledge workers, the professional & the personal lives of people in here will change dramatically, resulting the peaking inflation rate. One main reason for this INDIAN craze in the american market is as simple as it goes,if maintaining, chart reading, and code writing can be done for a lot less here and delivered to clients instantly via fiber-optic cable, thats where the work will land (a quite obvious answer).
There is no reason for us to held our heads high at this moment!!!still these indians are considered as the narrow minded left-brain workers who are good at completing certain jobs such as basic computer coding, accounting, legal research, and financial analysis.Where do we differ at this moment is that we do lack in the programmers who can design entire systems, accountants who serve as life planners, and bankers expert more in the nuances of Excel than in the art of the deal. Now these foreigners can get left-brain work cheaper, so they could do right-brain work better. Thus we are graded as the cheap souls at their disposal. So from now onwards shall we define our dreams as CheAP CollAred DreaMs!!!:-)
